



















Glen A. Holmes, 63, of Ocean Park, Old Orchard Beach, Maine, formerly of Charlton, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2026.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lila Holmes, to whom he was married for 32 years; his daughter, Lauren McEwen, and son-in-law Dustin McEwen; his two grandchildren, Ryan and Erin McEwen, of Hubbardston, Massachusetts; and his stepson, Stephen Hall, and daughter-in-law Lauren Hall of Boston, Massachusetts.
Glen is also survived by his sister-in-law Barbara Marshall and brother-in-law Ed Marshall of Alabama, his beloved Aunt Nan of Massachusetts, and his sister, Brenda Fass-Holmes of California. He was predeceased by his sister Debi Holmes and his parents, John and Arline Holmes.Glen had several cousins, nieces, and nephews, many wonderful coworkers at National Grid, where he worked for 34 years before retiring in Maine, and many dear friends who loved him.
Glen was gentle and mild-mannered, finding his greatest joy in life's simple pleasures-relaxing days at the beach, boating, fishing, grocery shopping, cooking, barbecuing, listening to "oldies" music, and enjoying the laidback comforts of home.
Glen had a great sense of humor and loved sharing laughs and reminiscing about things with his family and dear friends. He deeply loved his dog, Charlie, and spoke of him often, holding him close his heart.
Glen was a humble, kind man who never sought attention, but left a lasting impression. Per his wishes, no services will be held; he simply wished to be remembered in the hearts of those who loved him. His family is grateful for the love, kindness, and understanding shown during this time.
